Patina (2011)
The Latin word 'Patina' means antique, nostalgia, and reminiscence. It also signifies the color or incrustation that age gives to objects, and the changes in appearance produces by long-standing behavior, practice or use. Textile museums conserve aged and damaged textiles, and examine their techniques and materials. I am interested in the damaged surfaces of the aged textiles than their archival value.
